Dragon Hose™ snaps on in seconds, no tools, no fuss. Designed for standard 0.75 - 0.79" hoses, it hugs your feed line securely and maintains alignment with minimal effort.
How to Install & remove the Dragon Hose™ Modular System
- Lay Out the Hose: Place your pool cleaner hose on a flat surface—or leave it in the pool if that’s easier.
- Leave a Clear Section Near the Wall: Depending on your hose length, leave about 3 to 10 feet of hose near the wall connection without any ribs.
- Attach the Ribs Between Floats: Snap one or two Dragon Hose™ ribs between each pair of floats. Gently, insert the notched end of ribs inside the floats. If two ribs are used between floats, just insert the end of ribs in the floats; the other ends will be adjacent to each other.
- Repeat Along the Center Hose: Continue spacing ribs between floats until you reach the swivel connector that leads to the cleaner’s leading hose making sure the attached ribs are in the center of the feed hose.
- Adjust for Middle Swivels: If your hose has a middle swivel, offset the float placement slightly to allow the swivel to flip freely by placing a float on one side of the swivel close to the wall. The other side of the swivel should have 12” – 16” with no ribs (exposed hose) followed by a rib attached to a float. Continue the placement of the rest of ribs as stated in item 3.
- To remove: Release the rib from both floats. Slightly bend the hose at the end point of the rib, then gently place your finger between the end of the rib and the hose, and lift.
- To store Hose when not in pool: Remove the ribs per item 6 and store hose in accordance with the hose manufacturer’s instruction. There is no need to lay it in the sun to flatten it when you are ready to use it again.
That is it! Watch your pool cleaner stay tangle-free like a dragon gliding through water.
